每年, we welcome about 235 new first-year students to the Caltech community, plus a handful of transfer and 3/2 students. With an undergraduate body of just under 1,000, each student plays an active role in our small community of creative problem solvers through their vast STEM potential, unique background, and drive to solve society’s most pressing challenges.

Caltech annually enrolls graduate students across 30 different academic programs, which span the natural, 物理, and applied sciences, as well as 工程 disciplines. 研究生 work and research at Caltech, 然而, is inherently interdisciplinary so the 1,200 students pursuing a MS, 博士学位, or Engineer's degree often work across academic divisions and departments.
